Careful software, built in the field
Beels Technologies is an independent software studio in California. We make precision tools for documenting the real world, built by someone who uses them in the field every day.
Where the tools come from
Beels Technologies grew out of accident investigation work, not a business plan. That work means documenting scenes, taking measurements, reconstructing the conditions at the time, and digging through stacks of documents. Again and again, the software it needed either didn’t exist or didn’t hold up, so we built the missing tools ourselves.
That is still the whole company. We make precision software for people who document, measure, and verify: recording what’s there, measuring it exactly, and standing behind every number in a report. That standard comes from Eric’s day job: forensic site inspection, a field where the details are everything. It carries into every product, whoever it’s for.
The person behind the tools
Eric Beels
Founder, Beels Technologies
Beels Technologies is led by founder Eric Beels, a senior forensic scientist at Beels & Associates, Inc. We come out of accident investigation work: documenting scenes, reconstructing the conditions at the time, and digging through the case record. Every tool we make is one that work needed, and one we use on our own investigations.
Accident investigation holds a high bar for accuracy, and that bar carries into everything we build. Our software is made to be exact, dependable, and clear enough to stand behind.
