Split Hours
One day, several jobs, split to the second.
Split Hours is a work timer and time log for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch. Tap start and it runs right away, with nothing to fill in first. Say or type what you did, pick the projects the time belongs to, and stopping saves the log. Everything syncs through your own iCloud account.
The day, divided properly
A working day rarely belongs to one job. Split Hours is built around that: start the clock in one tap, then sort the time into the right projects before any of it reaches a bill.
Start with one tap
Start asks nothing of you. Add the description and the projects while the clock runs, or at the end. A log can be saved with no project at all and waits under Needs a project.
Split time between projects
Divide any log evenly or by percentage. Drag one project’s slice on the pie and the others adjust by the same amount, so it always totals 100%, exact to the second.
Say what you did
Tap the mic and talk. Split Hours transcribes what you say, and built-in AI rewriting cleans it up into one tidy line in the wording you prefer.
Rates that start on a date
Set a rate for everything and give any project its own. A change starts on the day you pick, so a new rate in November leaves October alone. Time with no rate reads as unpriced, never as zero.
Reports and daily summaries
Pick any stretch of time and see the hours, the amounts, and each project’s share. Daily Summaries gives one row per project per day with its descriptions gathered up, ready for a timesheet. Export as CSV.
On your wrist and in the menu bar
Stop the timer from your watch with one tap. Run it from the Mac menu bar with a keyboard shortcut. On iPhone, the Lock Screen shows the running clock and nothing else.

Your hours stay yours
There is no account with us, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Your projects, logs and rates live on your own devices and in the private iCloud storage of your Apple Account, which means we never receive them and cannot read them.
When you use AI rewriting, the text being cleaned up passes through our server to Anthropic, and our server keeps none of it.
